Job Purpose

Lead and manage all Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity (BC) functions at Dammam Airports to ensure regulatory compliance and operational resilience.

Position Accountability Description

Strategic Alignment: Develop and implement ERM and BC strategies, frameworks, and policies that align with the organization’s vision, strategic goals, and risk appetite.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to measure operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Risk Mitigation: Implement mechanisms for risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, integrating risk management directly into corporate decision-making processes.

Business Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive business continuity and recovery plan, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), disaster recovery, emergency response, and crisis communication.

Testing & Resilience: Design and execute regular tests, drills, and tabletop simulations to validate the effectiveness of business continuity plans and ensure overall operational resilience.

Reporting & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive risk and compliance reports for stakeholders, while ensuring strict adherence to all aviation industry regulations and standards.

Stakeholder Coordination: Build relationships with external regulatory authorities and coordinate risk responsibilities internally with departments like Internal Audit and General Counsel.

Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver risk and business continuity training programs and awareness courses for all corporate employees.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the ERM and BC team, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of excellence.

Financial Management: Assist in developing, managing, and reporting on the department budget, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Vigilance & Trend Analysis: Monitor external aviation trends and factors impacting the airport’s risk profile, maintaining ongoing vigilance over compliance issues and deviations.

 Innovation: Drive innovation and efficiency by adopting new technologies and best practices in risk management and business continuity.

Minimum Job Requirements

1-  Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

2-  minimum of 8 years of experience (with significant leadership experience).

3- Language ( English, Arabic)
