Job Purpose

Providing fire and rescue services within airport boundaries in compliance with the regulations of the General
Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). Supervise one of the fire trucks and its crew during emergency situations to
ensure an effective response and to safeguard lives and property.

Position Accountability Description

Field Supervision 
1.Direct field supervision of the assigned crew and fire vehicle, ensuring full operational
readiness at all times.
Emergency Response
2.Respond to all aviation and ground emergency situations, including aircraft fires,
collision accidents, and hazardous material spills, as specified in the emergency plan.
SOP Compliance 
3.Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures stated in the Airport Fire and Rescue Services Operating Manual.
Vehicle & Equipment Supervision
4.Supervise the operation of the assigned fire and rescue truck, including coordinating its effective use during emergency missions, ensuring equipment dedicated to firefighting and lifesaving is used safely and effectively.
Search, Rescue & First Aid Execute 
5.search and rescue operations, providing first aid at the incident site until specialized medical support arrives.
Fire Suppression 
6.Execute firefighting tasks using suitable extinguishing agents for the specific fire type, ensuring these agents are constantly ready on board the assigned vehicle.
Inspections & Maintenance 
7.Conduct and follow up on daily detailed inspections of the fire truck and its equipment, including auxiliary operating systems; ensure it is fully filled and supplied with all operational items/materials, immediately reporting any observations or malfunctions. Take full responsibility for the cleanliness and readiness of the vehicle at all times.
Shift & Call-Out Readiness
8.Adhere to the daily shift system, remaining prepared to respond immediately to callouts outside regular working hours as needed, based on operational requirements.

Safety & Vehicle Operations
9.Apply and direct general safety procedures during the operation and movement of the vehicle inside/outside airport boundaries, emphasizing the use of safe marshaling methods while reversing, avoiding any hazards that could impact operational or aviation safety.
Training & Exercises 
10.Participate in approved theoretical and practical training as part of the annual training plan, including field exercise scenarios for aviation and emergency incidents to maintain operational efficiency.
Team Development
11.Contribute to team performance development through continuous training sessions and reinforcing adherence to operational safety protocols according to the latest
standards.
Emergency Coordination
12.Represent the vehicle and crew within the airport emergency framework, working with team spirit and fully coordinating with relevant entities during emergencies.
Regulatory Compliance
13.Comply with all regulations and instructions issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Matarat Holding Company.
Physical & Health Fitness
14.Maintain physical and health fitness levels suitable for the nature of the work, per occupational health and safety requirements, enabling high-efficiency performance under various conditions.
Additional Duties
15.Perform any additional related tasks assigned by the direct manager within the scope of airport fire and rescue service responsibilities.
